Lets face it, we all go through our times of stress and sometimes that can lead to weight gain. Sometimes it can seem harder than life to kick off those few pounds.

I have some tips for some serious weight loss:

1.Drink a lot of water - The suggested amount of water to consume is about 8 glasses a day. I have also found out from doctors, suggested intake is half of your weight into ounces (ex: if you are 150lbs, you should drink about 75oz per day).

2.Vitamins- Take your daily vitamins, this essential and important to keep your body healthy when trying to lose weight . A multiple vitamin per day is a necessity.

3.Exercise 20 mines a day- Whether its sit ups, walking, jogging, pilates, it doesn’t really matter; the important part is to keep somewhat active everyday. Our bodies need physical stimulation to keep us fit.

4.Do pilates- This form of exercise I really suggest you check out, there is so much to benefit from this form of exercise. The pilates theory is to strengthen the core muscles (abdomen) which will in turn benefit the entire body, this also provides cardiovascular exercise.

5.Balanced Diet- This is the KEY, don’t over eat. Eat small portions throughout the day and you will see major changes in your body, not to mention you will feel better.

6.Be happy- This is so important, considering stress is the number one contributer to weight gain. Unfortunatly it can be hard in this ever changing, fast paced world to be completely stress- free. Focus on the good things in your life and in the day .A therapist is a good idea for just about anyone, really, they can help you get through every day struggles such as: relationship troubles, family issues, career mishaps, the every day life for all of us.

7.Get a gym membership- there are endless possibilites at the gym, from basketball, to swimming, to running on the treadmill. The point is, be interactive and active at the same time, the gym is a place to let go of stress and get pumped up and work off the pounds instead and IT WORKS.
