Do You Really Need To Lose Those Extra Pounds?
One of the more common questions that you often hear from overweight people is, do I really need to lose weight ? Is it that important? Then they will go on to say they feel fine and enjoy life the way it is. But, is this really a good idea? Diabetes has become more widespread the last several years than ever before in history. The cause? Obesity. And it is spreading to our children as well.
Just by losing weight in many cases, high blood pressure can be dropped dramatically. And that is with only losing 10-15 pounds. The same can be said with your cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels.
These reasons alone are enough to get started on a weight loss program , but there are also social and mental issues with obesity as well.
Overweight people are often times the butt of jokes at work or in social gatherings. Many times they are looked upon as being “bad”. It can be a very emotional and painful experience.
