What I am going to try and do in this article is give you more than just the tired advice.
The big question however is this: Is it possible AND healthy to lose a lot of weight quickly.
The answer is yes.
Now, I will admit that in a lot of ways, the rate you drop those pounds is somewhat dependent on a lot of factors, and I will cover those.
In fact, in this article I am going to cover the “I’m desperate to lose as much weight as possible and will do anything” as well as cover how you can be a little more … normal … about it.
I am also going to cover how you can lose weight on the hectic busy schedules most of us live under. With that said, lets get started.
“Death begins in the colon”
That is a quote by some long dead guy I heard once and have never forgotten. However, the fact of the matter is that your colon, if you are more than about 30 years old, is probably holding some ten to fifteen POUNDS of garbage, and that garbage is bloating out your stomach.
Without a doubt the easiest and fastest way of losing a bunch of pounds quickly is to start with the colon.
If you are desperate to lose weight quickly, then definitely look to “colon hydrotherapy”. There are some downsides to this. First, this should ONLY be done by a licensed practitioner (every major city will have several). Second is that this is a bit uncomfortable and expensive. However, you will walk out of a session seriously lighter. The next day your stomach will be noticeably flatter, the day after you’ll have A LOT more energy.
However, if you are not quite that desperate, then look to do a “cleanse”. Now, you could run out and buy some expensive cleansing products that will run you a couple of hundred dollars by the time you’re done (in which case you could’ve just gotten the hydrotherapy) … or you could simply learn the dietary steps to doing the cleanse yourself at home. This is cheaper and, in my opinion, a lot better.
Now, I would be remiss if I left out diet … especially after mentioning that you can cleanse at home with the things you eat.
With that said, there is the hyper fast way of losing weight quickly (useful for the desperate), and the more reasonable way of doing it.
For the desperate, there is simply no substitute for “negative calorie” eating. It is a little more complicated than this, but basically, the deal is to eat vegetables exclusively for 7 days. Vegetables often require more calories to digest than what they contain.
If you do go this route you will ABSOLUTELY want to get a good quality protein powder (go to any GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc) as well as a good quality multi-vitamin.
However, if eating like a rabbit for the next seven days isn’t your idea of fun, then your next alternative is to head to your local GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, etc. and buy a good quality meal replacement powder.
Drink one of these for lunch, and again just before dinner. You’ll find that they fill you up like nobody’s business and therefore you’ll eat less. When you do eat, eat fruits or vegetables and a SMALL amount of meat.
Last but not least, and this is important if you want to lose weight quickly.
NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS OF ANY KIND. It is probably a good idea to avoid sugar as well. Most artificial sweeteners (high fructose corn syrup, Aspartame, Sucralose, just to name the worst offenders) are often chemically designed to make you fatter. They are probably the cruelest hoax perpetrated on the global public I can think of.
If you do want to sweeten something (such as your morning coffee), then head on over to a health food store and pick up some organic evaporated cane juice or something like it.
If you did just these things, you could easily lost 10 to 20 pounds in a matter of DAYS.
