7 Surefire Ways To Burn Fat, Lose Weight and To Get Fit and Healthy
Now these are just tips from personal experience, and the experience of others that I have seen that really works especially when you use more than one at a time. Let’s begin to explore these tips…
Tip #1 - Set goals for yourself and stick to them.
You may have heard this many times before, but you won’t get anywhere unless you start setting goals. If you can, set a goal like I am gonna run x amount of miles, then go to the gym and lift x pounds of weights x amount of times, then do x amount of pushups, or whatever goal you would like… Try to keep doing it until it gets easy, then push it further. Keep doing that. So say you are gonna run 10 miles every other day. Keep doing that until it gets easy, then try 12 miles.
Tip #2 - Try a sport.
Sports are great ways to get fit, and along with other workouts, they can help. Try to make sure you have enough time. A HUGE problem that a lot of people face is lack of time. Most sports do require commitment, so try doing something where you can go at your own time. Some sports, including martial arts(lets also throw in yoga to this example), only need you certain days. See what schedule you can arrange, and begin.
Tip #3 - Why not get a Wii?
Yes it is a workout. However, do different things with it. Like say, if you got it with the Sports Bundle, when you play tennis, actually run around from side to side like you really are playing tennis, and when you box, box with passion and go crazy. That’s how you can really get the most out of working out with your Wii, and yes, you may get weird looks from some people…
Tip #4 - Workout incentives.
In Tip 1 I mentioned that you need to stick to goals. Well, you should set incentives for yourself, like the fact that you will be living a much healthier life, you will look great, etc. Picture your life as you being healthy and not overweight, and not so skinny that you look unhealthy. By picturing yourself like this, it will most likely push you forward to lose weight .
Tip #5 - Eat in moderation and variety.
You don’t have to diet just to get fit. Just eat smaller portions, and not just one type of food. Eat vegetables, carbs, meat, and a smaller-portioned dessert. That really should help you lose weight. Also, don’t dehydrate and don’t starve yourself. Try eating more fish also. Keep full by eating right, and not massive amounts of say, 1 or 2 things like only eating meat and carbs, without getting any fish or vegetables.
Tip #6 - Enhancing your workouts with nature.
Whenever you do workout outside, it is nice to get a little taste of nature. Like say, if you live near the beach, then why not jog there? Or what about the local parks, trails, etc. You could go biking, at one of these trails or simply around town. If you live in a smaller town then you can enjoy the nice scenery around the “small town” type atmosphere…
Tip #7 - Just some weight loss strategies you can follow:
100 pushups every day
Walk 1-2 miles while holding 2 25 pound dumbbells or 2 50 pound dumbbells
Jog 7 miles every Friday
Eat balanced meals
Do everything gradually, so set numbers that are challenging, master them, keep doing them, then step it up a notch…
