Burn That Fat Fast - 7 Ways To Lose Weight!
Of course you don’t need 7 ways or 11 ways to lose weight … you only need one that will actually work for you.
I firmly believe the high GI North American Fast Food eating habit is the root cause of the obesity epidemic. We are becoming insulin resistant and as a result piling on the weight.
But let’s look at some of the most popular ideas and see how they stack up.
1. Fast for 28 Days
I absolutely “do not recommend” this method… it’s way too dangerous to your health and afterwards you’ll just go back on an eating binge of your favorite high GI foods and gain it all back; and more.
But I have seen people blow off huge amounts of weight this way.
2. Water and vegetable juice only
A bit better than the 28 day fast but most of the underlying risks.
3. The Low fat diet
Low fat is certainly good for your heart, but if you continue with your high GI general eating habits then you won’t really have a lot of success.
4. Atkins
Seems to work but people report eventually feeling nauseated by the stodgy high fat content. It’s not a program that will keep you healthy for life.
5. South Beach diet
This is a low GI diet, seems to have good results and a lot of people are happy with it, but the cost and time for food preparation cause most people to fall off the wagon over time.
6. The Low Carb or No Carb diet
You will lose weight on this but the body needs carbs to be properly nourished so you can’t stay on this diet forever. Unfortunately the tastiest carbs are the highly processed or high sugar variety which are high on the GI scale. People generally feel that a diet is only for a limited time… a prison sentence from which they’ll eventually be released. So when people start adding carbs back into their regular diet they want a bit of fun… so it’s right back to those tasty high GI foods.
7. The Lemon Juice and Maple Syrup Diet
You will definitely lose weight but has all the risks and drawbacks of the 28 day fast… it’s really hard on your body.
I absolutely “do not recommend” this diet either.
So what’s the answer?
You want to get healthy and stay healthy for life… right?
First kill that “Carbohydrate addiction”. This can be done in a little as 5 days. Then get on a program that replaces those bad carbs with good carbs, fruit, vegetables and protein.
