10 Tips For Fast Weight Loss
Losing weight can be a challenge, especially if you have many pounds to shed. It can be difficult to sift through all the fad diets, and downright dangerous supplements and pills on the market today. How do you know what works and what doesn’t? Whom should you believe?
Here are 10 no-nonsense tips for fast, healthy weight loss :
1) Drink 8-10 glasses of water each day - this helps flush your body of impurities and fat. You can also substitute a few glasses of water for green or herbal tea.
2) Break up your meals into 5 or 6 smaller ones - this will help speed up your metabolism and keep you from getting too hungry in between meals.
3) Increase your fruit and vegetable intake - these are packed with vitamins.
4) Decrease your fat intake - try for no more than 20 grams per day.
5) Exercise for 30 minutes each day - take a walk, or play a game with your kids. Just get moving.
6) Find a hobby - take up knitting or painting to keep your hands busy.
7) Don’t eat that late night snack - Try not to eat for at least 2 hours before going to bed.
Listen to your body - your body will tell you when it is full, hungry, stressed, tired. Learn the signs and obey what your body is telling you.
9) Increase your fiber - choose whole grain pasta and bread.
10) Cleanse and detoxify - this may be the most important. Rid your body of harmful toxins and chemicals, while allowing it to function normally.
Cleansing is an important part of long-term weight loss success. Our bodies are laden with insecticides, pesticides, lead, and dozens of other harmful substances. These chemicals clog our internal organs and our bodies respond by coating these chemicals with layers of fat.
One way to cleanse your body of harmful impurities is by using Acai Berry. This fruit is a nutritional powerhouse and will get your body functioning normally again, so it can fight illness and disease. It will also allow your body to burn calories and fat faster and more efficiently. You will see a faster rate of weight loss, and you will be able to keep it off.
Acai berry has many health benefits as well, including increased circulation, increased metabolism, and increased mental clarity and focus.

Great tips! I have heard the one about water for so long. The problem is I just can’t stand to drink that much water even though I should. I like drinks with flavor…
Late night snacks were a nightmare for me. I found that eating bread (sandwiches) at a late hour, meant that I gained a lot of weight. Nothing beats exercise though!
I also agree with tip 2. Eating more meals per day might sound like “hey i gonna pack on more weight” but it’s not true. Instead of eating 3 big meals per day, breaking your meals in 5-6 smaller ones has been proven to boost your metabolism, reduce hunger and aid in weight loss. Your body can only assimilate a certain number of calories per sitting so if you eat too much per sitting, your body will store the excess calories as fat. This is why the 3 big meals per day is not a good nutrition concept.
Also the important thing is to know what to eat. Focus more on fresh and natural foods as far as possible.
Go for complex carbohydrates like wholegrain cereals, porridge oats, brown rice, wholewheat pasta, yams. Get your protein from lean sources like fish, eggs, skinless chicken breast. Eat your vegetables and fruits and opt for healthy fats from nuts, olive oil, fish oil and not forgeting to drink lots of water.
Eat like every 2-3 hours to incorporate your 5-6 meals per day. Coupled with regular cardio like jogging, swimming, bicycling, you will be on your way to your weight loss goals.
i study imformation from your article
I do find that drinking a ton of water helps me drop weight, but I guess that is related to water retention or the body’s storage of water.
Cutting out salt from the diet helps with water retention. Also, if I feel hungry late at night, green tea always takes the hunger away. It’s amazing, because before a whole bag of cookies and a bowl of cereal could not take the hunger away at night, but a simple cup or green tea can.
Nice tips, tips number 3 very difficult for me, i don’t like fruit ‘n vegetables, i tried some tips like maked fruit ‘ vegetables juice…
cool tips. more water is like the secret weapon. cut out the soda. there is no minimum daily requirement for refined sugar.
One way of exercising has helped me recently is using interval training. This is where one, instead of doing very moderate exercise steadily for a long period, does higher intensity exercise for a minute at a time, rest a minute, do another minute, etc., for about 25-30 minutes. I was surprised how this created more weight loss for me, even though I was doing a fair amount less total exercise time. I found it didn’t have to be very intense exercise or anything elaborate … I’m doing the 1 minute intervals on a $ 45 stair stepper machine in my home.
I’ve also read about the effectiveness of this in several health blogs/articles recently. It burns calories at a faster rate.
Thanks for this tips.
currently im in healthy weight
Great tips, I find if you drink lots of water eat the right food and exercise at least 3 times a week, you will see results.

Good article, althogh most people fail in achieving their weightloss goals due to lack of consistency in their diet or exercise plans. I think weightloss requires constant motivation and a group support to be effective in long term despite of all the advices given in such blogs.
A good article nonetheless.

Thanks again
Its general good health advice to drink several glasses of water a day, ideally 1.5l a day - however this liquid intake can also include tea and coffee. It is a myth that coffee dehydrates.
Eating late at night does not make any difference to how the food is digested or how the fat is stored (or otherwise). We may be asleep but all other bodily mechanisms are still processing in the same way around the clock.
I have heard that Acai berries are a good anti-oxidant and can ‘cleanse’ the body leading to a feeling of good health. However, in the UK they do not seem to be readily available, although no doubt I can buy them online.
On the drinking water part, I always wondered why people kept on saying “drink water. drink more water. you’re gonna have to pee every 30 minutes. drink until its clear.” I was like … what the heck. you guys are strange. Now I think I understand what they were talking about. Great post!
Hi thanks for the article. A lot of this info can be related to my new diet plan, fat loss 4 idiots, I will check into acai berry and maybe add it to my diet.
Thanks,
Nice tips, simple and very informative. Thanks for sharing
Good article, what will make every easy to drink water needed in a day when you wake up before having breakfast drink glass of water then eat your Cereal then take a walk with your water during the day make sure you drink three to four glasses of water and ones you know it before dinner you would have drinked six glass of water and before going to bed drink one last glass for the day make sure you take that water atleast 30 minutes before to avoid waking up to pee…
I really like your site. I have had trouble losing the weight recently. It was all so easy at the beginning when the weight was rolling off. But things have slowed down a bit.
Your site has renewed my courage to struggle on down that happy road of merky weight loss.
Make sure your larger meals are earlier in the day. This allows you to burn off some of those calories with your regular daily lifestyle. Your lowest calorie meal should be dinner as you typically are not going to be very active after dinner.
Losing weight is like a numbers game; if you want to lose weight you need to burn more fat then the amount you consume. There are various things you can do to lose weight: eating less calorific foods, eating smaller food portions, eating more regularly to increase your body’s metabolism and doing sports and/or fitness routines.
The first thing you should do if you want to lose weight fast is to stop eating junk foods, foods that are rich in calories and foods that are rich in sugar content. The average amount of calories needed daily are about 2700 calories for men and 2000 calories for women. A Big Mac with large fries and a large coke (Big Mac meal) contains about 1350 calories. Two scoops of ice-cream contain about 500 calories while a large doughnut contains about 300 calories. A vegetable risotto, in comparison, contains about 330 calories, which is one fourth of the calories contained in the Big Mac meal. A chicken salad with vegetables contains about 285 calories while a prawn salad with avocado and vegetables contains 260 calories. On the other hand, a medium portion of mixed vegetables salad contains only 33 calories. Hope you are getting an idea why fast foods and foods with high sugar contents are not good if you want to lose weight.
The size of the food portion is also important. If you eat large food portions, the body would not be able to consume all the excess food. Unfortunately most of the excess food would be converted to fat. Therefore you should only eat till you feel satisfied and not eat till you feel you are going to explode.
Another important thing you should do in order to lose weight is to eat more regularly throught the day. It is normally recommended that you eat 4 to 5 meals that are spaced between 3 to 4 hours apart. When you eat at regular intervals, you increase the metabolic rate of your body (in other words the body’s natural ability to lose weight) and you lose weight faster than if you eat larger portions only at dinner and at supper. As already mentioned before you should eat small food portions, just enough to satisfy your hunger.
Sports and fitness also help in losing weight fast. Basketball and singles tennis burn about 560 calories per hour, football burns about 630 calories per hour and soccer burns about 700 calories per hour. Martial arts like Jujitsu, Karate, Kick Boxing and Tae Kwan Do burn about 700 calories per hour. Disciplines like Hatha Yoga (about 175 calories per hour) and Tai Chi (about 280 calories per hour) burn less fat, however they do increase flexibility, improve body posture and reduce stress levels.
These are, in fact, very helpful tips for reducing weight. The tips are easy to follow, too. If we go by these guidelines, it is certain that we will be able to shed excess weight and have fit and trim bodies,
Those are all great tips. It’s hard to share a lot of information in the space of just one article.
I would add - get prepared foods out of your diet. They are full of chemicals that mess up your body’s ability to process food correctly. Just the switch from prepared foods to real foods will make a big difference. And it’s not as hard as you might think. And once you get over your addiction to the chemicals, you’ll be amazed at how awful that stuff tatses when you try it again. Yes, addicted. Why do you think you buy so much of it? They know how to keep you coming back for more!
Eat more of your calories and carbs earlier in the day when you’ll burn them off instead of storing them as fat.
Remember that one can of pop a day is 10 pounds over a year. No matter whether it’s ‘diet’ or regular. (refer back to the chemical tip)
You can do it!
I really need to incorporate some type of walking, strength training and a little cardio into my regimen. I lost about 50 pounds in a year by watching what I eat - low fat and monitoring calories. I know this method doesn’t work for everyone, but it worked for me. Now I’d like to tone up, build up endurance and just maintain an overall healthy lifestyle.
great info man ..
there is a tip i want to share with you , i think it very useful for some fatty peaple , this is my advice :
You can help prevent overeating and maintain blood sugar levels by eating something about every three hours. Getting too hungry will backfire on your efforts to eat healthy and practice portion control. Aim for a healthful, satisfying snack, such as an apple and some reduced-fat cheddar cheese. Eating more may seem counterintuitive, but smart snacking will help you lose weight. ..
thank you again ..
I believe a healthy lifestyle is the key to loosing weight and keeping it off. Aim to drink 2 litres of water a day, exercise for 20-30mins a day (this doesn’t have to be hitting the gym hard but a brisk walk can be enough) and eat a balanced diet. Denying yourself of certain foods that you enjoy will only make you crave them more - it’s all about moderation.
Great tips!
I would add that keeping a food log and the results is really important.
I found that when I did that, I actually lost more when I ate more fat instead of less.
I lost 75 pounds in four months by keeping a food log and figuring out what foods made me lose weight and what foods made me gain weight.
I love your blog! Excellet tips. I’m one of your biggest fans!
I’ve tried everything and I know what to do but just don’t do it! I think this tips are great and everyones comments are encouraging, I’m going to try again wish me luck, I’m posting the ten tips on my frig.
Grate tips, I have one for you to think about. Going to bed early tonight is all is takes to get a slimmer waist.
A major US study has revealed that women who get at least seven hours of quality shut-eye every night are slimmer around the middle than those who get less than five hours.
On average, the women who regularly slept for seven hours weighed 5lb less than the lighter sleepers.
They discovered that not getting enough sleep disrupts a hormone in the body that regulates appetite.
“That’s why when you’re tired and cranky you’re more likely to eat more
i think you are very smart and you are 100% right your a very smart person we need more ppl like you in this world
I find this information very useful, I went down 10 kg in just a month or two with this method, though I ate some candy in the weekends (Chocolate) Since I was almost dying for some sugar, and the chocolate is the most healty of the candy though it aint healty at all. But try to take one day which you can taste abit of sugar, atleast that kept me motivated
I know this method doesn’t work for everyone, but it worked for me. Now I’d like to tone up, build up endurance and just maintain an overall healthy lifestyle.
Tip number 3 is a tough one to follow. I’m not that into Fruits and Vegetables.
I found your tips very useful. Keep up the great content.
Thanks for sharing this very interesting post !
These tips are great.
Number one is by far the most effective for me. If you think about it, by not drinking pop, no junkfood will sound good. Imean face it, do patato chips and ice water sound good to you at all? No. I recently gave up pop and sighing the fourth day I wasn’t even thinking about it. There is not one good thing About it. Water cleanses your body, hydrates, and can even fill you up.
Another important one is exercise. I swim for two hours every day, and I play soccer for an hour an a half twice a week after swimming. Exercise is so fun After a while!
Thank you!
Just hates the fact that some people don’t need to go through all of this to look good! A friend suggested plain provita every two hours with lots of water as a diet…. Oh i’ve lost weight but is it healthy???
Great Article thanks for the tips i am always looking for some nice tips and tricks to make things a little easier for me.
especially good is to see the enphisis you placed on hydration and drinking plenty of water each day
Have you considered identifying your metabolic type? This may be the most important factor in determining what your diet should contain in terms of calorie balance, fat, carb and protein levels should be as unique as you are.
Losing weight can be a challenge, especially if you have many pounds to shed. It can be difficult to sift through all the fad diets, and downright dangerous supplements and pills on the market today. There are many tips using presently in our society which will be helpful to loss your weight.
these are great tips, just don’t get frustrated and remember. if you have started gaining weight and want to start losing it, you have to change you’re diet just to stay at the same weight. so make sure you add exercise to increase you’re chance of losing the weight you are wanting to
It is not easy to lose weight if you don’t know how to do it.
Last month I found a great site that helped me to lose weight 100% naturally and healthy.

I heard pommegranite is very good, (hope i spelt it write).
Green tea is natural and even mint leaves, i dont believe in carb free diets as your denying your body key elements of nutrition that it needs, them if you each even a chip you’ll put it all beack on again…..
I have read some reports on acai recently which have made me think twice about taking it, I know that it can be a great detox but I was concerned because some people have said about having too much of a detox affect and making you get the runs. I think I would want to see some medical opinions on acai berry
A comprehensive analysis of the dumping of excess weight; List of recommendations needed for compiling diet by yourself;
Retention and consolidation of the results; No fantastic techniques! Real look at the process of
weight loss, as it really is.
People are always looking out for ways by which they can loose weight easily and in a fast manner. But they fail to keep up to their policies. I am sure people will learn a lot from your post and will develop the idea of loosing weight.
I know for a fact that you will loose weight if you eat 5 to 6 small meals a day. Most people get in trouble because the when they try this the meals are to big.
cutting down your calories, and working out 2h a day, best would be cycling would give you great results. After you do this, your body will want more water and you will eat less, because you dont want to throw 2hrs of exercise down the drain. No weight loss, without breaking a sweat,so no diets, eat what u like, just not as much as you would like, and exercise…You need carbs, they are brain food, keep you going,.This is a really great article, but doing just this, would be a bit slower then you would probably want it to be.There is no shortcut to a great figure,..
Ummm…water has nothing to do with anything. Staying hydrated is good, but your body has mechanisms to rid itself of impurities. Unless you’re ill or take too many drugs (including Tylenol), your kidneys and liver are functioning to remove toxins and impurities. “Cleansing” is dangerous, and drinking 8 glasses of water a day is a completely arbitrary number that has no basis in reality.
The other tips are good. Break up your meals, and eat a balanced and healthy diet of fruits, veggies, and lean proteins. The AMA actually suggests 60 minutes of exercise 6 days a week, even if it’s just walking. 30 minutes really isn’t enough. You can easily add 10 minutes on to your normal routine and get the other 20 minutes by walking up stairs and across parking lots, rather than spending twice as long hunting for parking spaces close to your destination.
I think our society is a little water obsessed. Many walk around with plastic drinking bottles trying to drink at least 8 glasses a day. Why?
The plastic waste, not to mention constantly using the washroom is not environmentally friendly at all.
Stay hydrated, yes, but do we really need to force ‘at least 8 glasses’?!!
I have tried all such techniques and tips but all in vain.I need some help to motivate me to use such tips.I know everything about weight loss but i am not able to act upon them
im jst to fat and i need to lose weight
