How to Lose Fat Fast
Try to follow this. A guy wants to lose weight to look better. In particular, he wants to know how to lose fat. The fat hanging from his arms, chest and especially his belly. The problem at times however is he has no muscle under those areas of fat he wants to lose. What is going to keep him up right when he loses that fat with no muscle underneath.
Believe it or not, a lot of guys out there are thinking this way. They are thinking if they get rid of this unwanted fat they would look good. All they care about is looking chiseled, but with the lack of muscle underneath if they lose the fat all they will look is hungry.
Now you skinny guys out there, especially if you’re belief is like this, probably don’t want to listen to things like that. So how to lose fat and gain muscle is the big question. But the sad truth is, you can’t get “chiseled” with a body like you’ve got. Not by losing that fat. No, what you need to be thinking is going in the reverse direction. No, I don’t mean eating all you can and gaining weight so you can try out for the St. Louis Rams as a linebacker. Your scrawny body could never take that on. What I mean is, instead of trying to lose all the fat, you should center on gaining muscles. How much muscle can you gain, you are wondering? Not enough to be a St. Louis Rams linebacker, that’s for sure. What you need is figuring a few things using your current height and weight.
Those two things will help establish what you need to do. Say, for illustration, you are 5′8″ tall and weigh in at 150 pounds. If you have that kind of body you can build something solid with what muscle you have. But if you are heavier, I would try to lose the weight first. Get down to 150 pounds first. For every inch in height your weight should vary by five pounds or so. If you find your body weight a bit under what it should be for your height, then by all means, bundle on enough pounds to even things out while you add on some more muscles. Then start to burn the fat while packing on the muscle. You want that chiseled muscular look.
So, scrawny man, adding muscle is where your focus really ought to be. Doing things this way, the right way, will help to make you look healthy - and feel healthier - and you will be changed from a scrawny looking fellow, into that lean, muscle-bound mass of a man, with “ripped” abs to go with it. One apprehension that may be brought up in this situation is whether or not the skinny person, after gaining muscle, would end up looking huge or not. The reality is, if you go by the example we set above (5′8″ and 150 pounds), a person would have to (at that height) be thirty pounds heavier in order to look huge when packing on more muscle.
So, start your muscle building program now, if you want to look “chiseled” for the ladies. Especially if you haven’t done any hard weight training in the past, as you put on the muscle, you’d probably burn the fat along the way also.
But do weight training workouts only while doing this. Overlook any high intensity interval cardio for at least the first four weeks that you are developing your muscles. And be sure to eat extra calories, like a bigger breakfast and above all right after your workouts. Doing this will help build those muscles and trim the fat, all at the same time. Lose Fat Fast Tip #1: Motivation
Remember that old saying “Inch by inch, it’s a cinch, yard by yard it’s really hard”? Well, It’s true when trying to lose the fat as well, so give yourself a break and start small. If you succeed in making a few key changes, it will do wonders for your confidence, motivation, and ultimately, in your goal to lose the fat.
Lose Fat Fast Tip #2: Exercise
Exercise is not only a great way to jump start your diet program and lose fat, but it’s critical to your overall health. When you’re thinking about an exercise program, concentrate on all the areas of your health you’ll be improving upon, rather than just focusing on how to lose the fat.
Here are a few items worth considering:
Increased Energy
One of my all time favorites. The more exercise you incorporate into your lifestyle, the more energy you will have, the more easily you will lose fat, and with less fat and more energy, everything in your life will become easier.
Strong Bones and Muscles
Exercise is critical for strong bones and muscles and for slowing the progression of osteoporosis. It’s also very important for arthritic conditions as it helps to keep your joints flexible.
Mental Alertness
Exercise is one the cheapest and easiest ways to keep the doctor away. From depression to dementia, you won’t find a better all natural medicine.
Lose Fat Fast Tips #3: Diet
The best way to tackle a new diet plan is to educate yourself. It’s a common misconception that eating fewer meals will provide the necessary means to lose the fat. In fact, the opposite is true, by strictly limiting our calorie intake, we actually slow down our metabolism and the result is that we lose the fat more slowly. (Not a great motivator!)
Although it’s quite possible to lose fat without going on a detox diet, it’s one of the best ways to get a head start on any weight loss regimen.
